WHY BUDDEE BUOY

Buddee Buoy swim shorts are significantly different to all other swim shorts. Although they look like normal swim shorts, they are very different because they are a combined swim short and floatation tube.

Buddee Buoy swim shorts have an inflatable floatation tube concealed within the swim short waistband.

This concealed floatation tube provides the swimmer with the comforting knowledge of knowing that during their swim, using their own breath they could inflate the tube to create additional buoyancy.

DEPLOYMENT OF BUDDEE BUOY

When the swimmer is treading water or swimming on their back, the swimmer lifts open the waistband flap then takes hold of the nozzle and in one movement pulls out the floatation tube that is concealed within the waistband; removes the nozzle plug and then blows into the nozzle to fully inflate. It is used by a swimmer to assist rest and recovery during their swim. The floatation tube is tethered to the swim shorts, so it cannot be swept away.

BUDDEE BUOY IS REUSABLE

The unique design allows deflation of the floatation tube by using the supplied deflation plug. The following video is a demonstration of how to re-insert the flotation tube into the swim shorts wasitband using the supplied threading pin.
